Our story
Discover the important dates in Abelio’s story.
2018
Abelio, formerly known as New Drone, was created by our joint founders, Philippe and Grégoire.
2020
New Drone was taken on by the start-up accelerator Le Village by CA. We changed our positioning on acquisition and processing of all the data sources (satellite, drone, farming weather) and became Abelio. We carried out our first fundraising venture in order to finalize developments and begin to deploy our solution.
2022
Following a year spent on our initial tests in real conditions, this was the year that we launched our first commercial season.
2023
In 2023, Abelio turned the corner with 100 distributors and over 10,000 farmers using our solution. We raised a further 4 million euro in funds in order to deploy our product throughout Europe and in Canada from 2024.
