1. Introduction

Abelio undertakes to respect and protect all personal data communicated to it, for example those of its employees, partners, associates, customers and stakeholders.

To this end, Abelio strives to put in place all the necessary precautions to preserve the confidentiality and security of the personal data communicated and processed in order to prevent their alteration, deformation, damage or their use by third parties.

This charter for the protection of personal data and confidentiality policy (hereinafter the «Charter») is therefore intended to inform you of Abelio’s commitments regarding the collection, processing and transfer of personal data and, more broadly, in terms of personal data protection.

We remind you however that Abelio does not control all the risks related to the operation and use of the Internet and therefore draw your attention, as a user of the Abelio platform (app.abelio.io) the existence of any risks inherent in its operation and use.

It is recalled that the notion of personal data (hereinafter, the «Personal Data») refers to any information relating to a person that can directly or indirectly identify him, such as your name, your phone number, your IP address or email address.

2. Who is this charter for?

This Charter is intended for users of the Abelio platform (app.abelio.io), application Abelio – Tour de Plaine, website visitors (abelio.io), customers, suppliers or subcontractors of Abelio, employees within Abelio and, more broadly, to any person whose Personal Data may be collected, received, stored, processed, transferred and used, regardless of the format (electronic, paper or oral) by Abelio.
Please note that by using our online services and communicating your Personal Data to Abelio by any means, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Confidentiality Policy and consent to the use and processing of your Personal Data in accordance with this Policy.

3. What kind of information does Abelio handle?

The Personal Data you provide to us.

On our platform and website, you have the opportunity to voluntarily provide us with information that identifies you and/or your company. This information includes:

Your details: postal address, email, phone number, your “login”
Your identity: first name, last name, title, function, company, email address
Your application information: CV, cover letter
Your computer data: IP address, etc.

As well as any other information related to your request and/ or interests.

The mandatory nature of the information you need to fill in is usually indicated at the time of data collection on the corresponding forms by an asterisk.

To offer a better quality of service, Abelio may store information entered in forms, manage and secure access to reserved and personal spaces such as your account, manage your orders.

In all cases, Abelio ensures the collection and processing of personal data that is relevant and strictly necessary to achieve the purposes that have been previously determined.

Abelio takes all necessary measures to ensure that your data is accurate, complete and, if necessary, updated.

4. Processing of persona data

Abelio is the recipient of Personal Data. Abelio’s data centers are hosted at AWS in Paris and Dublin, within the European Union.

Abelio undertakes to collect your data in accordance with the provisions of the CNIL. Your data is processed primarily for the following purposes:

The proper functioning of the platform and services
Your subscription to the newsletter
The management of your application file
Your request via the contact form
Guarantee the security of our websites
Marketing actions
Register in our databases as a new customer, supplier etc.
Analyze the relevance of the content of our sites.

Abelio may also share your Personal Data with its suppliers and subcontractors, in France and abroad, for the aforementioned purposes.

Abelio undertakes not to transmit your Personal Data to a third party unless:

you have given your prior consent to share your Personal Data with third parties;
the sharing of your Personal Data with said third party is necessary for the provision of the products or services, or a competent judicial or administrative authority requires that Abelio communicate the said Personal Data to it.

5. Retention of personal data

Personal Data is kept for the duration necessary for the purposes for which it was communicated to Abelio in compliance with the applicable regulations and is, in any case, destroyed at the end of it. Thus:

Candidate records may be kept for up to 2 years from the last contact with said candidates, unless the latter consent for a longer retention period
The data relating to your subscription to our newsletter is kept until the withdrawal of your consent via the “unsubscribe” option
When your data is collected as part of the contact form, Abelio keeps this data for the time necessary for the processing of said requests.
